Leadership

Robert Noble
Co-Founder & President
A fifth generation Texan and gun enthusiast, Robert grew up on the South Plains of West Texas and learned the art of shooting from his Dad. Robert brings almost 40 years of experience in creating high technology products and solutions. In 2001 he joined AMX where he served as the CTO for more than 13 years. While there he was in charge of AMX’s Global New Product Development teams responsible for creating technology products for embedded device control, audio/video switching & transport, enterprise software and state of the art user interfaces. In 2015 AMX was bought by Harman and then subsequently bought by Samsung. After the Samsung acquisition he decided to join Jim focusing his efforts on Take Aim Technology.
Robert holds several U.S. Patents and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Jim Pautler
Co-Founder & CTO
Jim grew up on an Illinois Dairy farm with hobbies of hunting and target shooting. He is a lifelong gun enthusiast interested in the technical aspects and physics of shooting. Jim brings almost 50 years of experience designing and engineering high tech products and systems.
Jim’s first job was at the Motorola Research Labs in Schaumburg, IL. where he had the privilege of being on the team that created Analog Cellular Telephones and systems. Jim spent the next 15 years working at McDonnell Douglas as a chief systems engineer designing “Space Laser Communications Systems” for the government.
In 1993, Jim came to Dallas Texas and worked for a number of startups where he headed the engineering teams. For the last 13 years, Jim was the SVP of Product Engineering at AMX. AMX was a leader in the Control and Video switching industry.
Jim holds multiple U.S. Patents and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla, an MSEE from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an Executive MBA from Washington University.
